This Code of Ethics sets out the standards of conduct expected from all trainers, students, associates, and representatives of Enneagram Training UK & Ireland. It ensures our work upholds professional integrity, respect, and the values of the Narrative Tradition.
1. Respect and Professionalism

3. Confidentiality

Respect the privacy of all course participants and clients.

Keep personal information shared in workshops, coaching sessions, and training strictly confidential.

Do not share or use confidential material without explicit permission.
4. Responsible Use of the Enneagram

Use the Enneagram system ethically and responsibly, in line with recognised professional standards.

Avoid using the Enneagram to label, judge, or limit others.

Acknowledge the complexity and depth of the Enneagram rather than presenting it as a quick fix.
5. Professional Development and Competence

Maintain and develop your knowledge and skills through ongoing study, training, and supervision.

Stay informed of developments in the field of the Enneagram and related disciplines.

Seek feedback and reflect on your practice to ensure you serve clients and students effectively.
6. Boundaries and Self Awareness

Maintain appropriate professional boundaries in all interactions.

Be aware of the influence and responsibility inherent in the facilitator’s role.

Refrain from exploiting relationships for personal, financial, or professional gain.
7. Compliance and Accountability

Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional guidelines.

Abide by this Code of Ethics and any relevant policies of Enneagram Training UK & Ireland.

Report any breaches of this Code to the Directors or designated ethics contact.

Cooperate fully with any review or investigation into ethical concerns.
8. Review and Commitment
This Code of Ethics will be reviewed regularly to remain current and relevant. All trainers, students, and representatives are expected to read, understand, and uphold these principles as a condition of their involvement.
